I love how Diddy moves on his feet and with his tweets!

He did it first with MySpace, then YouTube, on Twitter, and Facebook.  Diddy is always showing the kids how social media can grow your fan base.  Diddy has done social networking and the use of social media a big favor. From blogging on MySpace and video blogging on YouTube, to live webcasting of the unveiling of Unforgivable his Women’s fragrance, and now he’s blowing up Twitter. Diddy if you want to twit with me @Sojournals.  Yes it’s micro-blogging again my friends!  Yesterday on The Ellen Degeneress Show Diddy gave Ellen and the millions of people watching a crash course on how to use Twitter. Man!….Man! I got chills when I saw that. That made my day! What did Diddy go and do now?!

Why am I so excited?  Diddy is the “posterboy” for hip hop and technology. Who needs television or radio? Go Social Media!  For the Hip Hop Social Media Award, I nominate Quest Love of the Roots, Erykah Badu, and of course Diddy. Quest Love kinda already had the tech thing poppin’ with OkayPlayer.com and has since been a major influence in the pressence of hip hop media on the Internet in general. Erykah definately has a very special place in her heart for her fans. She drew us into the  most sacred moment in the world via text message to Twitter,  tweeting the whole experience of her third child’s birth. Wow! But neither of them has given a social media demo on television for millions of viewers! Diddy is currently doing a P.Twitty series through his YouTube Channel to grow his Twitter base where he gives behind the scenes video to his twitter updates. Diddy is doing his best to stay on top as a social media heavy weigh stopping just short of lifestreaming. But, I’m sure it won’t be long before he has an aggregation stream of Diddy24/7 full of photos, videos, tweets, updates, and more. Can’t Stop. Won’t stop.
