Founder & Publisher, Kelli M. Anderson
Kelli M. Anderson: An Introduction from Sojournals on Vimeo.
Originally from Dallas, TX, I traveled to Washington, DC to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Film and Theater Production from Howard University. After graduating from Howard University’s School of Communication, I began my career as an Assistant Editor at Georgetown Post – a boutique video post production company specializing in niche multimedia applications. At Georgetown Post I was exposed to numerous roles within the video production field including operations, graphic design, and digital music licensing.
Currently I am contracted as a High School Digital Arts Instructor and enrolled in Full Sail’s Internet Marketing Masters program. As Founder/President of Sojournals.com – an urban media aggregation – I occupy my time networking online while seeking innovative methods to promote my member content. I utilize Sojournals.com as a platform to share online strategies with others regarding social media while informing my network of new effective digital publishing applications. My goal is to enhance the experience of my professional contacts and colleagues with a combination of collaborative tools while lowering the learning curve. In short, I enjoy seeking and teaching technology.
I also balance my time as a freelance Photographer and provide professional services for studio photography and event planning for artists and professionals within the Washington, DC metro area.
