May 10, Duke Ellington School of the Arts LMC Faculty Reading featuring Kelli M. Anders
On Tuesday, May 10, 2011 I will be joined by my colleagues and friends within in the Literary Media & Communications Department of Duke Ellington School of the Art to present a night of poetry, theatre, fiction, and film at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. As a faculty member I teach video and new media and I’ll be presenting a collage of unrelated student created video works which I have reassembled to reveal a story about teenage love expressed through poetry, performance, and documentary video. As a documentary artist I created this video to illustrate the multiple skill sets cultivated within our curriculum to create 21st century artists.
