Duke Ellington’s R Street Collective
The R Street Collective is a student run performance troupe from Duke Ellington School of Arts, a performance ensemble comprised of students from the Literary Media & Communications (LMC) Department. Students perform original works before live audiences within the Washington, DC metro area. Mark Williams the LMC Chair, skillfully directs this talented group of students to weave their collective voice and tackle progressive ideas with audacity and grace. This is the first of several videos that Sojournals has worked with students to produce for the department.
