TechTasters: noun – def:
A techie fanatic that seeks information on the latest in emerging software and online communities, innovative trends, and electronic devices. Style, innovation, utility, and novelty are intrinsic qualities of the Tech-taster lifestyle.
TechTasters is a series of workshops and events presented by SoJo Solutions in partnership with the Howard University Department of Systems and Computer Science. These presentations are an introduction to online publishing tools, resources, and new web applications. In addition, Tech Tasters will introduce guest speakers with successful strategies for publishing and networking on the web.
Workshop Dates:

June 2, 2009 Workshop 1: Gmail an Internet Command Center

June 16, 2009 Workshop 2: Social Bookmarking
June 30, 2009 Workshop 3: Microbloging (Twitter etc)

ATTENTION!!! All participants must have a Gmail email account before attending workshops. This will be used as part of the exercises.
