Twitter is all the rage and spreading like wildfire! But what is you want all the benefits of Twitter but with a more focused agenda? Now you can can create your own micro-blogging platform for whatever you like. Sojournals.com now features micro-blogging through Shout’em, one of a handful of DIY sites for this kind of service. They offer you the option to create a private or public network, customized design to match your branding, and several premium services for hosting and advertising. What’s even better is that you can enable auto-posting to Twitter right from your micro-blog.
Sojournals created it’s micro-blog SoJo Mini to give community members a doorway to Twitter without needing to leave the network. We also wanted to create a mini aggregation stream for those member who don’t have content of their own but would like to share info, weblinks, and works in progress on the network. By using simple embed code we placed a widget on the main page of the Sojournals.com community that automatically posts the newest messages from SoJo Mini. Another simple way to aggregate content online.
